Some surprises are waiting for you at the iPhone 2.2 SDK. Believe it or not, that smallish device can export live video to the TV!
The MPTVOutWindow class allows the iPhone to transmit video straight from itself to a TV connected to it. This allows you to watch your videos (you video freaks..haha) on your much larger TV screen instead of on your tiny iphone screen. However, the downside is, you will need to buy a video adapter or cable in order to make the hook up the iphone to the TV.
